Chicken Pot Pie (using Soup Or Sauce Mix)

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup non-fat powdered milk
  • 1/8 cup cornstarch
  • 1/16 cup instant chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 1/4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, cubed
  • 1 (8 -10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup baking mix (such as bisquick or homemade version)

Recipe

  • 1 combine mix ingredients.
  • 2 combine 1/3 cup mix with water.
  • 3 cook and stir on stove top or in microwave until thickened.
  • 4 in 9-inch pie plate, combine sauce, chicken and vegetables.
  • 5 in bowl, combine biscuit topping ingredients.
  • 6 pour over chicken mixture.
  • 7 bake at 400 f for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
