Peppermint Rice Crispies Squares

Ingredients

  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 5 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal (such as rice krispies®)
  • 1 tablespoon crushed peppermint candies, or to taste

  • combine marshmallows, butter, and vanilla extract in a large microwave-safe bowl; cook in microwave until melted, about 50 seconds; stir.
  • mix 1/2 cup peppermint candies into marshmallow mixture; add rice cereal and stir until evenly combined.
  • press mixture into a 9x13-inch dish. sprinkle 1 tablespoon peppermint candies over the top.

Flag Pizza

Ingredients

  • 3 small purple potatoes
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, divided, or as needed
  • 25 slices pepperoni, or more as needed
  • 1 cup alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded italian cheese blend
  • 5 mini mozzarella balls, halved

  • place potatoes into a pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. drain and slice potatoes into 1/4-inch rounds.
  • preheat oven to 400 degrees f (200 degrees c). spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • unroll the refrigerated pizza crust and spread it out in the baking sheet to fit to the edges. brush the crust with about 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  • bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden and slightly set, about 7 minutes.
  • arrange pepperoni slices on a paper towel-lined, microwave-safe plate. microwave pepperoni on high until heated through, about 30 seconds.
  • spread alfredo sauce over the baked crust; top with italian cheese blend. arrange potato rounds in the top left corner of the pizza, forming the blue portion of the flag. brush potatoes with remaining olive oil. place mozzarella ball halves on top of the potatoes to resemble the stars of the flag. arrange pepperoni slices, slightly overlapping, in rows across the pizza to resemble the stripes on the flag.

Crispy Peanut Butter Chocolate Log

  • 1 (10 ounce) package large marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 5 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal (such as rice krispies®)
  • 1 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chips

  • line a 15x10x1-inch pan with waxed paper. grease the waxed paper.
  • combine marshmallows, butter, and peanut butter together in a large microwave-safe bowl. cover bowl and heat mixture in the microwave until marshmallows are melted, about 2 minutes. stir well.
  • stir rice cereal into marshmallow mixture until well coated; spread onto the prepared pan.
  • combine chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl. heat mixture in microwave until melted, about 2 minutes. stir well.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter

  • in a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
  • in a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. spread over the prepared crust. refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.

  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 2/3 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup confectioners' sugar

  • preheat the oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
  • stir together the almond meal and sugar; set aside. in a large clean glass or metal bowl, whip the egg whites to stiff peaks. fold in the sugar and nuts. pour into a 10-inch springform pan.
  • bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. cool over a wire rack, and remove from pan.
  • microwave the chocolate in a small bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. stir together the instant coffee and hot water, then stir them into the melted chocolate; set aside to cool slightly.
  • in a medium bowl, cream together the butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. gradually blend the chocolate mixture into the creamed mixture until fluffy and spreadable. spread over the cooled cake.

  • wet a paper towel, and wring out. wrap the ear of corn in the moist towel, and place on a dinner plate. cook in the microwave for 5 minutes. carefully remove paper towel, and enjoy!

Breaded Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup finely crushed herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon italian-style seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Recipe

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
  • in a small shallow dish combine the stuffing mix, cheese, parsley, curry powder and seasoning. mix together.
  • in an 8x11 inch baking dish, melt the butter/margarine in the microwave. dip the chicken breasts in the stuffing mixture, coating both sides of each breast.
  • place chicken in baking dish and sprinkle any leftover stuffing mixture over the chicken. bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then turn chicken pieces over and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. enjoy!
