Caramel Mocha Almond Ice Cream

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee crystals
  • 1 cup vanilla caramel liquid coffee creamer
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted almond
  • 4 ounces cool whip

Recipe

  • 1 heat coffee creamer and half and half till steaming (i heated it in the microwave on the beverage setting).
  • 2 pour hot cream over sugar and coffee crystals and stir till sugar is dissolved.
  • 3 cool completely.
  • 4 stir in chocolate syrup, heavy cream and almonds.
  • 5 chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or more.
  • 6 pour in ice cream maker and follow manufacturers directions.
  • 7 add cool whip half way through the churn.

Bacon-cheddar Muffins

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 line a dozen muffin cups with paper liners and set aside.
  • 3 cook bacon in large skillet or microwave until crisp.
  • 4 transfer to paper towels to drain; reserve 2 tablespoons bacon fat from pan.
  • 5 whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. then stir cheese into mixture.
  • 6 in a small bowl, beat together egg and milk; stir into dry mixture.
  • 7 crumble bacon.
  • 8 add bacon, reserved bacon drippings and melted butter to batter.
  • 9 fold until blended.

Corn And Bell Peppers Stuffed Zucchini

  • 4 small zucchini (about 6 inches long)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3/4 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed or 3/4 cup cooled cooked fresh corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons diced red bell peppers
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil or 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

  • 1 cut zucchini lengthwise in half; place zucchini and water in microwavable dish.

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 6 1/2 ounces butter

  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh walnuts, chopped (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees f. grease an 9 by 13 inch (3l) cake pan
  • 2 sift together the flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
  • 3 melt the chocolate, half the butter and half the vanilla over a double boiler or in the microwave, and let it cool to room temperature.

  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 dash freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon half-and-half
  • 2 bananas, sliced for garnish
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

  • 15 you may also use this sweet and creamy mascarpone filling on bagels. simply choose a plain or egg bagel (no seeds), slice and toast.

  • 1 slice velveeta cheese
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 mix the egg, water, and sour cream with a fork.
  • 2 fry till done, folding up the edges to fit the oversized biscuit.
  • 3 lay the slice of cheese on top of the egg and then the bacon.
  • 4 put the top on the sandwich and put in microwave for just 20 seconds maybe.
  • 5 enjoy!

10 Minute ..quick And Easy Chocolate Brownie Pudding Cake

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 boil water with 3 tbsp of sugar and set aside.
  • 2 combine all dry ingredients (first 5 ingredients) in a bowl, then add eggs,melted butter and vanilla until well blended, mixture will be thick.
  • 3 butter a 9 inch microwavable pan or tupperware, even if its a tad smaller it's ok.

Black Friday Turkey And Stuffing Panini

  • 1 cup unskimmed milk
  • 1 cup double cream
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup grated cured cheese (or as strong as you like it)
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 onion, cut into large pieces

Recipe

  • 1 if you have time (in the morning), put the milk in a heavy pan and heat along with the nutmeg, pepper, cardamoms, bay leaf and onion.

  • 3 steep for at least 2 hours, the longer the better (don't discard the onions afterwards, they're great for making"caramelized onions").

American Spiced Date Loaf

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup chopped dried dates
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 ounces butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 2 teaspoons mixed spice
  • 3 teaspoons dried ginger
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) or 1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a ceramic or glass bowl, place the sugar, dates and water. microwave until brought to the boil (this will depend on the make of your microwave), but 2-3 minutes is "normal". set this aside to cool. while cooling grease and line your loaf tin and turn on your oven to 180oc.
  • 2 beat your egg in a separate bowl (a large one).
  • 3 add the cooled mixture and vanilla to the egg then add the sifted flour and spices. add the nuts here if you are using them and mix well.
  • 4 place in your prepared loaf tin and bake for 30 -35 minutes (or until cooked when tested with a skewer).
  • 5 cool in the tin for 10-15 minutes, turn onto a wire rack. best served warm with lashings of butter.

Cinnamon Bun Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 c kernels)
  • 1 cup pecan halves, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup karo syrup (or honey makes a good substitution)
  • 1/2 cup real butter (1/2 c)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 squares almond bark (about 4 oz)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • 2 place popcorn and chopped pecans in a large bowl and set aside.
  • 3 combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a 2 liter capacity microwave safe bowl. mix well. chop butter into chunks and place on top of sugar mixture. pour corn syrup over the top of everything. microwave on high for 30 seconds and then stir to combine. return to microwave and heat for 2 minutes. remove and stir and then microwave for 2 minutes more.
  • 4 remove from microwave and add in vanilla and baking soda. stir to combine. mixture will foam and rise. pour caramel mixture over popcorn and pecans and stir very well so everything is well coated.
  • 5 spread popcorn mixture onto a foil-lined jelly roll pan. place in oven and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • 6 remove from oven and spread out on a large piece of parchment, waxed paper, or foil.
  • 7 melt almond bark according to package instructions. drizzle over popcorn mixture. when almond bark is hardened and popcorn is cool, break into chunks and enjoy!

Bread Pudding With Poor Mans Sauce

  • 2 cups stale bread
  • 4 cups milk, scalded
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 cut or tear bread into 1-2" pieces.
  • 2 scald milk (2 minutes in microwave or until film forms on stove top).
  • 3 pour milk over bread for 5 minutes.
  • 4 in separate bowl, mix sugar, beaten eggs butter & vanilla.
  • 5 slowly pour over bread/milk mixture and fold lightly.
  • 6 stir in raisins.
  • 7 pour into greased 2 quart baking dish.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
  • 5 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter and butterscotch chips together in large microwaveable bowl.
  • 2 add graham cracker crumbs.
  • 3 mix well.
  • 4 save 1/2 cup for topping.
  • 5 press rest into ungreased 8 inch square pan.
  • 6 bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
  • 7 mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs, flour and lemon juice together, using a heavy duty wisk or electric mixer.
  • 8 ( i beat the cream cheese first to make sure it is smoothe before i add the other ingredients.).
  • 9 spread over hot crust.
  • 10 top with 1/2 cup reserved crumbs.
  • 11 bake for 20-25 minutes at 350°. cool.
  • 12 i would make the night before or early in day and put it in the refridgerator so it is very cold.

Chocolate Chip Caramel Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon marshmallow extract (optional)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups caramel filled hersheys chocolate kisses
  • 3/4 cup uncooked oats
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 melt butter, sugar, and brown sugar together in a microwave for 45 to 50 seconds on medium to low power, careful not to burn the butter.
  • 3 let the butter-sugar mixture cool just a bit and blend in the egg and egg yolk. add the vanilla and marshmallow extract, and the heavy cream. stir and set aside.
  • 4 sift dry ingredients together and fold into wet mixture carefully.
  • 5 add chocolate chips, candies, oats and pecans.

Chocolate Chip Caramel-filled Fudge Brownies

Total Time: 4 hrs Preparation Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter, cut in chunks
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla, and
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups sugar (i prefer 1c. granulated, 1c. brown, but any will do)
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 for the caramel: combine the sugar, corn syrup, honey, and salt in a 3 quart saucepan. cook over medium heat until the mixture simmers around the edges. brush the sugar off the sides. cover and cook for about three minutes.
  • 2 attach a candy thermometer to the side of the pot and cook until it reaches 308 degrees (if you don't have a candy thermometer, cook for about eight minutes.).
  • 3 while the sugar mixture is cooking, bring the cream to a simmer in a small saucepan.
  • 4 remove the sugar mixture from heat, and immediately stir in butter. gradually stir in the hot cream.
  • 5 return to heat until mixture slightly boils.
  • 6 stir, and cook for 22-30 minutes. remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  • 7 immediately pour into a pan or bowl, and let cool for 2-3 hours.
  • 8 after two hours, start preparing the brownies.
  • 9 for the brownies: preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 10 melt the butter in a bowl on high for 1-1 1/2 minutes in the microwave, then add in the oil. add sugar and cocoa to the butter mixture until well mixed.
  • 11 add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla until just blended. then add the flour, baking powder, salt, and finally the chocolate chips.
  • 12 spread half of the batter into a well greased 9x13" pan.
  • 13 pour the caramel onto the brownies, staying withing an inch of the sides. save a little sauce to pour on top of brownies.

  • 1 sift flour with baking powder and salt, set aside. melt 1¼ cups of the chocolate chips and the unsweetened chocolate in a double boiler or the microwave.
  • 2 beat the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl for 4 minutes at medium speed. scrape down sides and beat 2 more minutes. add the melted chocolate and beat one minute more. add the sifted dry ingredients and the remaining chocolate chips and beat just until mixed. refrigerate the batter for 15 minutes.

  • 4 place 1 heaping tablespoon of dough per cookie on greased cookie sheet, bake for 9 minutes (don't overbake). cool on wire rack and try not to eat them all in one sitting.

  • 1 for the cream cheese filling:.
  • 2 cream cheese and sugar till a smooth paste is formed.
  • 3 add in lightly beaten egg 1/3 at a time and mix well before adding the next portion.
  • 4 stir in the sieved flour.
  • 5 add in the warm milk and mix well.
  • 6 microwave cheese mixture for 2 minutes on high and stir it. after stirring it, send it back to the microwave for 2 minutes on high again. blend well till you get a smooth paste.
  • 7 stir in the lemon juice and butter. send it to chill in the refrigerator and roll slightly harden cheese paste into 35g balls to be used as filling.
  • 8 for the cream cheese buns:.
  • 9 mix all ingredients to form an elastic dough and prove in a greased mixing bowl for 60 minutes.
  • 10 knead the dough to release the air in it and prove for 30 minutes.
  • 11 divide dough into 8 equal pieces of 50g each and one piece of 60g. rest the dough for 15 minutes. the 60g dough piece is used to make the plait that encircle the cheese-pan.
  • 12 shape dough and wrap in the filling. dust top of bread with some bread flour. prove for 45 minutes.
  • 13 bake at 210c for 10 minutes and then 190c till golden brown.

Caramel Dream Cake

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup caramel liqueur (i used cask & cream)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box cake mix
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (a 12 oz. bag is approx. 2 cups, save rest for the glaze)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 3 -4 tablespoons caramel liqueur

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 grease & flour bundt pan or tube pan.
  • 3 in a large mixing bowl, mix sour cream, caramel liqueur and eggs together until well mixed.
  • 4 add the cake mix and instant vanilla pudding mix and beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
  • 5 fold in 1 cup of the chocolate chips.
  • 6 pour batter into pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • 7 cool in pan 15 minutes, then remove.
  • 8 melt 1 cup of chocolate chips (i do this carefully in the microwave).
  • 9 add the confectioner's sugar and caramel liqueur, mix well with a fork.

  • 1 cook acorn squash in microwave 2-3 minutes on high, just to soften it. cool, cut from the rind, and cube; set aside.
  • 2 in a large soup pot, cook chopped bacon until well done and somewhat crispy. add carrots and squash to pot, stir to coat in bacon juices. add beans and lentils, stir again until everything is coated in bacony goodness.

  • 3 bake pecans in a single layer on a baking sheet 5 - 7 minutes or until lightly toasted and fragrant. (this can be done in a microwave-safe plate in 1 minute increments until the nuts are 'roasted'. stir every minute for about 3 - 4 minutes total, allowing to sit 5 minutes.).

Caramel Frosted Pumpkin Cookies With Butterscotch Chips

  • 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin (not quite a full can)

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1 cream together shortening and 1 cup sugar. note: i have recently experimented by substituting 1/4 cup of the shortening for a healthy, butter-flavored margarine -- using all butter or margarine tends to make the cookies spread out and not hold their shape, however). add pumpkin and egg and cream lightly until fluffy (i usually use a hand mixer for this).
  • 2 combine flour, soda, cinnamon and salt; mix into cream mixture. (i usually switch to a wooden spoon, to keep the mixture light and fluffy -- you don't want to overbeat).
  • 3 fold in butterscotch chips.
  • 4 drop by teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until done (i sometimes find it takes a little longer, depending on humidity, the size of the cookie, etc.). refrigerate remaining dough, covered, while other cookies are baking.
  • 5 in the meantime, make the frosting: combine the butter and milk in a small saucepan and cook until sugar is dissolved (or, you can cook in the microwave, about 30 seconds+/-). let cool for several minutes (mixture will be still be warm). stir in the powdered sugar, sifted, then add vanilla; whisk well until smooth.
  • 6 frost cookies fresh out of the oven and while frosting is still somewhat warm; frosting will harden as it sits out; if necessary, reheat for a few seconds in the microwave until pliable again and/or add a few more drops of milk and restir.

Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Hot Cross Buns

  • 1 melt the chocolate and stir in the 2 tsp of cinnamon, mix well then pour onto a tray with baking paper and place in freezer until set. once set chop into chunky peices to make 'cinnamon chocolate chips'.
  • 2 next mix yeast, sugar and warm milk in a bowl and stir to remove any lumps. set aside for 15 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • 3 in a large bowl sift flour and salt. make a well in the centre and mix in the yeast mixture, butter egg, cinnamon, mixed spice and one one third of the chocolate chips.
  • 4 knead dough for 5 minutes until elastic and place in a greased bowl covered with cling wrap in a warm area (or sit your bowl in a larger bowl of warm water). leave for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hoursuntil doubled in size.
  • 5 using your fist, punch down the dough and add the remaining cinnamon chocolate chips. knead lightly (careful not to handle too much so the chocolate chips dont melt) and divide into 16 balls.
  • 6 place close together on a lined or greased baking tray. cover with cling wrap and allow to rise for 20 imnutes. preheat the oven to 175c/350°f.
  • 7 bake for 20 minutes untill lightly golden. allow to cool slightly
  • 8 melt the 1/2 block of chocolate in a ziplock bag in the microwave. allow to cool slightly then snip of the corner of the bag and pipe lines across buns to make crosses.

10 Step Easy Cheesy Omelet
