Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) package swiss chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 3 large eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar chocolate fudge topping
  • 1 (16 ounce) container cool whip, thawed
  • 2 heath candy bars, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 bake cake in a 13x9 pan according to directions on box.
  • 2 let cool 25-30 minutes in pan.
  • 3 poke holes in cake with wooden spoon handle.
  • 4 pour on sweetened condensed milk.
  • 5 spread evenly and wait 5 minutes.
  • 6 pour on fudge topping (i melt it a few seconds in microwave to pour evenly).
  • 7 spread evenly and wait 5 minutes.
  • 8 spread cool whip over top.

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers (about 50)
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 32 kraft caramels
  • 3 tablespoons milk

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, divided (8 squares)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 300°.
  • 2 mix wafer crumbs, 1/2 cup nuts, and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. microwave caramels and milk in microwaveable bowl on medium (50%) 4 to 5 minutes or until caramels are melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 2 minutes. pour over crust; spread to within 1 inch of edge. cool.

  • 4 ounces almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup sugar, plus
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
  • 1/3 cup unbleached flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees. lightly grease and flour a 9" round cake pan.
  • 2 place almonds in a small baking dish and place in oven until lightly toasted.
  • 3 place toasted almonds and 2 t sugar in a food processor or blender. grind to a powder in a few short bursts.

  • 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
  • 1 (16 ounce) package tofu
  • 1 (12 ounce) container cool whip
  • 1 keebler graham cracker pie crust

  • 1 set aside a few chips to decorate the top when finished.
  • 2 melt the bag of chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave. place in the blender. dry off the tofu and add 1/2 of the piece to the blender also. blend until smooth. pour mixture from the blender into large mixing bowl and gently fold in cool whip. you can set aside a small amount of the cool whip to decorate top for later. put mixture into pie crust and smooth around to edges. decorate the top with some dollops of cool whip and sprinkle a few chips over the top. chill in refrigerator for about 20 minutes and eat. you can use any kind of chips -- butterscotch etc., or any kind of cooked pie crust.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped chocolate covered toffee candy

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 make the crust:
  • 3 in a medium bowl, combine the wafer crumbs, butter and sugar.
  • 4 press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie place.

  • 15 pour this filling into your cooled chocolate crust and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup chopped toffee candy.
  • 16 chill the pie until firm, about 2 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.

Auntie Annes Pretzels

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 combine the 1/2 tsp brown sugar, touch of salt, 1 1/2 tsp yeast, and 1 1/2 cups water together.
  • 2 leave it sit for 5 minutes.
  • 3 now add the 4 cups of bread flour and knead well. then let it rise for an hour.
  • 4 preheat your oven to 425 degrees (f).
  • 5 in a separate bowl, combine the 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 cups of warm water.
  • 6 take a chunk of the dough and make it into the shape of a pretzel, then dunk the dough in the baking soda water, and set it on a greased cookie sheet.

  • 8 to make the pretzel shape, roll the chunk into one long strand and hold the two ends and put them together to make a circle. twist it once and lay it down. try it a couple times and you'll get it.

Recipe

  • 1 in a pie plate put the flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. stir to combine and set aside.
  • 2 in a second pie plate put the eggs and water. beat together with a fork and set aside.
  • 3 in a third pie plate put the seasoned break crumbs and the panko (japanese bread crumbs). stir to combine and set aside.
  • 4 in a large nonstick frying pan put the oil and butter and heat over medium heat until the butter melts.
  • 5 wash one chicken breast under cold running water and then dip in the flour mixture, covering well.
  • 6 next, dip the chicken in the egg mixture.
  • 7 finally, dip the chicken in the bread crumbs and then put into the frying pan.
  • 8 repeat with 1-2 more chicken breast pieces and then fry until the chicken breasts are golden on both sides and a fork pierced into the meat shows that the meat is tender and cooked through.
  • 9 as the chicken pieces cook, remove the cooked pieces and add more to the pan until you have cooked 4-6 chicken breast pieces.
  • 10 to plate put a little marinara sauce on the plate. top with a piece of cooked chicken. top with some more marinara sauce, fresh chopped basil and the mozzarella cheese on the very top. either broil in the oven or heat in the microwave just until the cheese melts.
  • 11 serve at once with pasta on the side.
  • 12 note: i usually either buy thin slices of chicken breast, buy chicken breast pieces that are not very fat, or pound the chicken breasts to flatten them.

  • 1 garlic clove, cracked from skin

  • 3 medium yellow tomatoes, seeded and chopped (or 2 large yellow tomatoes)
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 serrano peppers or 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped

  • 1 make the hash: chop all vegetables; pierce potatoes with a fork and microwave on high for 5 minutes; remove potatoes from microwave and cool 5 minutes or until cool enough to handle.
  • 2 while potatoes are cooking, add chopped bacon to a big skillet over med-high heat; brown until crisp; remove to paper towels to drain; wipe pan and return to heat.

  • 10 turn off heat and add bacon back to pan; combine bacon with the vegetables then add the cheese to pan to evenly cover the mixture.
  • 11 tent the skillet with foil to gently melt the cheese over vegetables and potatoes and to retain heat.
  • 12 fry eggs: heat a nonstick griddle pan over medium heat.
  • 13 add 1 tablespoon butter to warm pan and let it melt.
  • 14 crack eggs onto griddle and fry to desired doneness (eggs may be cooked over easy or scrambled as well, as you like).
  • 15 make the toast: place bread slices under broiler and toast 6 inches from heat on both sides.

  • 8 in separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy; slowly add remaining 1/2 cup sugar until soft peaks form.
  • 9 fold into cake batter.
  • 10 pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • 11 (tops of cakes will not turn brown, so test with toothpick to see if they are done) cool in pans for 5 minutes and then turn out onto cooling wracks to cool completely.
  • 12 prepare your favorite buttercream frosting and frost when cakes are cool.
  • 13 for the chocolate shadow, melt the chocolate chips in microwave for about 1 minute, or until the chips are soft enough to stir together.

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350. line mini muffin pans with paper liners.
  • 2 brownie cups - melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. add chocolate chips; stir until melted and smooth. remove pan from heat. briskly stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla. stir in flour until blended. fill each baking cup with a slightly rounded tbsp batter.
  • 3 bake 15 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean. let cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes before removing from pan to rack. let cool completely.
  • 4 ganache - place heavy cream in medium glass bowl. microwave 1 minute on high until it begins to simmer. add bittersweet chocolate chips; let stand 1-2 minutes. whisk until smooth. spread a tsp on top of each brownie and decorate if using. let sit at room temperature.

Recipe

  • 1 in a small mixing bowl, combine, water,milk, butter & instant potato flakes, heat in microwave for one minute.
  • 2 when cooled, add 1 slightly beaten egg, then place ingrediens in bread machine.
  • 3 put sugar & bread flour on top of liquid ingredients and make a well in the center then add yeast. sprinkle salt at outer edges, being careful not to touch yeast.
  • 4 select dough cycle.
  • 5 when dough cycle is done, punch dough down, divide into 12 equal pieces, roll into snake/roll pieces. coil each rope to make a snail shape and arrange rolls in a circle on a large greased baking sheet with sides barely touching.

  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 line rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with aluminum foil, letting foil hang 2 inches over short ends of pan.
  • 3 spray foil with cooking spray.
  • 4 stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended.
  • 5 spread in pan.
  • 6 bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.

  • 1 break cauliflower and broccoli into florets or cut them up and place in bottom of crock pot. add carrots to this.
  • 2 dice bell peppers, onion, and garlic add to crock pot.
  • 3 add 4 cups water, 4 chicken bouillon cubes,.
  • 4 salt,pepper, curry, turmeric for color and flavor about 1 tsp each to start with.
  • 5 cook on high 6-8 hours.
  • 6 1 hour before serving-remove 2 cups of broth from the vegetables.
  • 7 put in medium saucepan,put on high heat, when it begins to boil. add 4 tbsp cornstarch to cold water and whisk into broth mixture (mix cornstarch and water in a small glass or jar and then add to the broth).
  • 8 grate your favorite types of cheese, i use about 1/2 cup of each kind and add it to hot broth mixture. when it has melted all of the cheese and it is a thick consistency, pour it all back into the crock pot. let simmer for another hours. i have added crumbled bacon and i have also used diced ham. serve with oyster crackers, or crusty bread or rolls. awesome winter meal! enjoy!

  • 1 if you have your bread sliced at the thickness for sandwiches, you should have 8 long slices.
  • 2 soften the cream cheese in the microwave if necessary so you don't tear the bread.
  • 3 lay your bread slices out, and spread with the cream cheese-just as you would with butter for a normal sandwich.
  • 4 on the first slice, top with the ham, then a bread slice, top with tomato, and a bread slice, top with the mashed egg, then a final bread slice.

  • 1 season strips of steak with salt and set aside.
  • 2 in a small bowl, make a sauce by whisking together coffee, ketchup, and chili powder.

  • 1 garlic clove (crushed or minced)

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 6 chapati (warmed 280 grams)

  • 1 preheat oven to 180c/160c fan forced.
  • 2 boil, steam or microwave potatoes until tender and drain.
  • 3 using a fork, crush the potatoes roughly.
  • 4 heat oil in a large frying pan, cook garlic and onion, stirring until onion softens.
  • 5 add spices and cook stirring until fragrant.
  • 6 add undrained tomatoes and cook stirring 5 minutes and then stir in the potatoes and sultanas.
  • 7 make a lenghtway slit in each chilli, stopping 1cm from top and bottom, taking care not to cut all the way through, carefully remove and discard seeds and membranes (a teaspoon can be good for this).
  • 8 divide potato filling among the chilli cavities.
  • 9 place chillies on oiled oven tray (baking sheet/tray), cover (loosely with alfoil or lid if tray has) and roast for 30 minutes; uncover and roast for a further 20 minutes.
  • 10 while the cillies are roasting make the raita by combining cucumber and yoghurt in a small bowl and then serve chillies with raita and the chapatis.

  • 2 bell peppers, colors of choice
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 ounces deli turkey or 2 ounces deli roast beef
  • 10 slices bacon or 10 slices turkey bacon, cooked & torn in half
  • 1 slice swiss cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon miracle whip
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 kaiser roll, lightly toasted (any bread of your choice will work)

Recipe

  • 1 rinse and slice onion, bell peppers and mushrooms.
  • 2 drizzle olive oil in a medium skillet & place over medium heat. add sliced veggies plus minced garlic.
  • 3 cook about 5 mins until veggies are semi-soft & have some nice browning.
  • 4 to make sandwich: using a paper towel or wax paper, place your deli meat on 1st and then add the amount of sautéed veggies you want and microwave about 20 seconds.
  • 5 add 2 slices of bacon torn in half & slice of swiss cheese. microwave another 20 seconds or so.
  • 6 spread miracle whip and ketchup on bottom of bun.

Cowboy Quesadillas

  • 1 (10 ounce) can rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 flour tortillas (10 inch)

Recipe

  • 1 combine velveeta and rotel in 1 1/2 quart microwaveable bowl; microwave on high 3 minutes or until velveeta is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 2 minutes.
  • 2 stir in chicken and onions.
  • 3 spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium-high heat; spoon about 2/3 cup chicken mixture onto half of 1 tortilla; fold in half.
  • 4 add to skillet, cook 1 minute on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
  • 5 remove from skillet.
  • 6 repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
