Coffee Shop Fudge

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 18 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons strong brewed coffee (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 line an 8" square pan with foil. butter the foil and set aside.
  • 2 place pecans in a microwave-safe pie plate. microwave, uncovered, on high for 4 minutes, stirring every minute; set aside.
  • 3 in a 2 quart microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, milk, coffee, cinnamon, and salt.
  • 4 microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 1/2 minutes, and stir until smooth.
  • 5 stir in vanilla and pecans.
  • 6 immediately spread into the prepared pan.
  • 7 cover and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
  • 8 remove from pan; cut into 1" squares.
  • 9 cover and store at room temperature.
