Charishma's Bombay Masala Rice

Total Time: 21 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 16 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup basmati rice, cleaned, washed and soaked for 30 minutes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons bombay biryani masala
  • 1/4 cup green peas (optional)
  • 1/4 cup peeled and finely chopped carrot (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 put everything in a microwave-proof bowl.
  • 2 microwave on high power level for 16 minutes.
  • 3 remove, fluff with a fork and serve hot accompanied by plain yoghurt on the side.
