Creamy Tarragon Peas & Onions

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 cups pearl onions, peeled
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 teaspoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
- 1/8 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 cup half-and-half
Recipe
- 1 put 1 tablespoon of butter in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- 2 microwave on high until melted.
- 3 add onions, cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender.
- 4 stir once.
- 5 stir in peas and set aside.
