Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package semisweet baking chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, halved
- 9 inches pie crusts
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350.
- 2 melt chocolate and butter in a large microwave bowl on high for 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted. stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
- 3 brush the bottom of the pie crust with a small amount of the beaten egg. stir sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla into the chocolate mixture until well blended.
- 4 stir in nuts.
- 5 pour into pie crust.
- 6 bake 55 minutes.
- 7 cool on a wire rack.
