Apple-cinnamon Lamb Chops

Total Time: 7 hrs Cook Time: 7 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons nonfat chicken broth
  • 6 lamb loin chops, thick cut
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling, divided
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 spray large skillet with nonstick spray. add broth to skillet and heat over med-high heat. add chops and brown on both sides.
  • 2 remove from skillet.
  • 3 combine half the apple pie filling, the lemon juice, bouillon granules, and cinnamon in slow cooker and mix well.
  • 4 place chops on top ; cover and cook on low heat about 7 hours.
  • 5 spoon remaining filling into a bowl and heat in microwave until warm.
  • 6 serve with chops.
