Apple, Banana, Oatmeal Treat For One

Total Time: 14 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 granny smith apple (peeled and cubed)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup vanilla-flavored soymilk (i use 8th continent light vanilla)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 mix cubed apple with lemon juice and 1/4 tsp cinnamon, making sure apple is covered evenly.
  • 2 cover, and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  • 3 remove from microwave and add sliced banana.
  • 4 put aside.
  • 5 in separate bowl combine oatmeal, soymilk, and the other 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
  • 6 mix well and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  • 7 combine apple, banana mixture with oatmeal. add chopped walnuts.
  • 8 enjoy.
