American Heart Association Turkey Loaf

Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped shallot
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup no-salt-added tomato sauce
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 combine everhting but tomato sauce.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 mld turkey mixture into a loaf pan.
- 5 bake 45 minutes.
- 6 remove from oven, pat dry with paper towels.
- 7 warm tomato sauce in microwave 1 minute and then drizzle over loaf.
