Cheesy Chicken & Pierogie Casserole

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs of mrs.t's potato & cheddar pierogies
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 2 frozen boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 10 1/2 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pinch salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 season chicken with salt & pepper to taste then cook chicken breasts in pan, cube & set aside.
  • 2 saute diced onion in the butter in chicken pan.
  • 3 cook spinach (i microwave it.) until thawed.
  • 4 cook pierogies according to package.
  • 5 mix chicken, onions, spinach & soup together in same pan as before.
  • 6 spray large (9x13) casserole dish with oil.
  • 7 layer pierogies, chicken mixture, & cheese in casserole dish.
  • 8 top w/ cheese.
  • 9 bake in 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes & until cheese is melted.
  • 10 serve.
