Cass's Gingerbread Waffles

Ingredients

- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 tablespoons butter (melted & cooled)
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs till fluffy and add sugar, molasses and buttermilok and beat. in a large bowl sift dry ingredients and add to batter and stir till smooth. add buter and combine.
- 2 make in waffle maker.
- 3 if freezing cool cooked waffles on rack and
- 4 layer separately between sheets of wax paper.
- 5 place in zip lock bag.
- 6 reheat in toaster or 300 f oven )but not in a microwave).
