Apple And Spice Porridge

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 large apple, peeled, cored and finely sliced
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 place the apple, oats, cinnamon, mixed spice, milk and 2 cups of water in a large microwave-proof dish.
  • 2 cook on high (100%) for 8 minutes, stirring every minute, until thick.
