Cherry Chocolate Slice

Ingredients

- 100 g baking chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 50 g flour
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 250 g pitted cherries
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 180°c.
- 2 melt chocolate and butter by placing both in a heatproof bowl and standing over a pan of boiling water. stir until melted and well combined. (i actually use the microwave on low for this step.)
- 3 beat flour sugar and eggs until and doubled in bulk, this will take about 5 minutes.
- 4 add melted chocolate and beat together well.
- 5 grease a lamington tin and scatter cherries over base of tin.
- 6 pour chocolate mixture over the top and bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean when tested.
- 7 remove from oven cool and cut into slices.
