Brownie Bottom Pie

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 ounces baker semisweet baking chocolate
  • 1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (i use mexican vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages jello chocolate flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • cool whip or whipped cream

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 (325 for glass pie plate).
  • 2 grease bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate.
  • 3 microwave chocolate and butter in a large microwave bowl for about 2 minutes.
  • 4 stir until chocolate is melted.
  • 5 stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • 6 mix in flour, then nuts.
  • 7 spread in pan.
  • 8 bake 25 to 30 minutes.
  • 9 cool.
  • 10 pour milk into a large bowl.
  • 11 add pudding mixes.
  • 12 beat well with wire whisk.
  • 13 let stand 2 minutes.
  • 14 spread over brownie pie.
  • 15 top with cool whip or whipped cream.
  • 16 garnish with grated bakers chocolate.
  • 17 refrigerate until ready to serve.
