Chocolate Sauce Pudding

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 60 g butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups warm water
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add unbeaten egg and vanilla and mix well.
- 3 fold in sifted flour, alternatively with milk.
- 4 place mixture in greased, oven proof/microwave proof dish.
- 5 in separate bowl mix sugar and cocoa.
- 6 sprinkle cocoa-sugar mixture evenly over cake mixture (do not stir).
- 7 gently pour over warm/hot water. (do not stir).
- 8 place in moderate oven for 35 minutes or microwave 8 minutes (1200 watt oven). you might want to keep watch as sauce might overflow.
