Christmas-pretty Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

- 2 (6 ounce) packages chocolate baking squares 
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut 
- 1/2 cup pistachio nut 
- 1/2 cup dried cherries 
Recipe
- 1 melt the chocolate. chocolate is tempermental; do not use the microwave. it may harden in the microwave or develop a slight caramelized taste. instead, recommends chocolatier magazine, firm it up in the freezer, then grate it and melt in a double boiler. 
- 2 mix in the coconut, pistachios, and cherries. 
- 3 pour into a parchment-lined 9-inch square pan. refrigerate 1 hour until set.
