Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 cups bread flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 lb butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
Recipe
- 1 combine the 1/2 tsp brown sugar, touch of salt, 1 1/2 tsp yeast, and 1 1/2 cups water together.
- 2 leave it sit for 5 minutes.
- 3 now add the 4 cups of bread flour and knead well. then let it rise for an hour.
- 4 preheat your oven to 425 degrees (f).
- 5 in a separate bowl, combine the 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 cups of warm water.
- 6 take a chunk of the dough and make it into the shape of a pretzel, then dunk the dough in the baking soda water, and set it on a greased cookie sheet.

- 8 to make the pretzel shape, roll the chunk into one long strand and hold the two ends and put them together to make a circle. twist it once and lay it down. try it a couple times and you'll get it.
