Chex Holiday Cutouts Gluten Free

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 11 cups rice chex
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • frosting (to decorate)
  • candy (to decorate)

Recipe

  • 1 butter 15x10 pan.
  • 2 coarsly crush cereal. (to easily crush cereal, place in plastic bag or between sheets of waxed paper, and crush with rolling pin).
  • 3 in large microwavable bowl, microwave marshmallows and utter uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes, stirring each minute, until mixture is smooth. stir in crushed cereal. using buttered back of spoon or hands, press firmly in pan.
  • 4 cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 5 cut into shapes with 2 1/2 or 3 inch holiday cutters
  • 6 decorate.
