Chilli Popcorn

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 50 ml olive oil
- 75 g unpopped popcorn (i sometimes use microwave popcorn and only half the amount of oil )
- 1 teaspoon dried chopped chile
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
Recipe
- 1 heat half of the oil in a large pan ,add the popcorn kernels and cover tightly cook until the popping stops shake the pan occasionally to prevent burning ( if you are using microwave popcorn ,follow the instuctions on the packet and go on to step 2 ).
- 2 empty the popcorn into a bowl
- 3 add the rest of the oil with the garlic and chillies to the pan and cook gently for around 30 seconds or until the ingredients are blended
- 4 return the popcorn to the pan and toss together over a gentle heat for a further 30 seconds.
- 5 pour into a bowl and allow to cool.
- 6 serve at room temprature.
