Chocolate Fudge Cake

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 (16 ounce) package brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares, melted and cooled (i do this in the microwave)
- 2 1/4 cups sifted cake flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 cream butter,; gradually add brown sugar, beating well.
- 2 add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 3 add chocolate, mix well.
- 4 combine flour, soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
- 5 beat well.
- 6 add water and vanilla; stir well.
- 7 pour batter into 3 greased and floured 9in cake pans.
- 8 bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until cake tests done.
- 9 cool in pans 10 minutes.
- 10 remove and cool completely on wire racks.
