Chocolate Filling Or Icing (fudgey)

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons hot water (or more to thin)

Recipe

  • 1 place chips in microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 and 1/2 minutes, stirring to melt.
  • 2 if not melted microwave for 15 second intervals stirring thoroughly each time until melted then set aside.
  • 3 in large heavy saucepan combine sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallow cream, butter and salt.
  • 4 cook over medium heat stirring constantly until it comes to a vigorous boil.
  • 5 cook for 5 minutes thenn remove from heat.
  • 6 add vanilla and melted chocolate chips, stirring until incorporated.
  • 7 add hot water and using hand mixer beat on high until incorporated.
  • 8 let cool at room temperature.
