Cream Cheese Fudge

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (2 squares)
  • 1 cup sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (not fat free)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 bring the creamed cheese to room temperature (softened).
  • 2 melt butter over low heat (or microwave).
  • 3 add chocolate squares and stir until melted.
  • 4 remove from heat and stir in sugar substitute and vanilla.
  • 5 combine the chocolate mixture with the creamed cheese.
  • 6 beat with electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • 7 stir in nuts, if you are using them.
  • 8 spread mixture in a lightly greased 8" square pan.
  • 9 refrigerate until firm.
  • 10 cut into 64 pieces, 1" square.
