red beans and rice burrito

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (8 ounce) box red beans & rice mix (such as zatarains ®)
  • 8 (10 inch) whole wheat tortillas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 teaspoons seasoning (such as tony chachere's®)

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins Ready Time: 40 mins

  • cook rice as instructed on package. place tortillas in microwave and heat on high for 10 seconds.
  • spoon 1/4 cup rice and beans down the center of each tortilla. top each with 1 tablespoon sour cream, 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese, and 1/2 teaspoon seasoning. fold edges over to enclose filling.
